I am a contractor and my crew loves this saw. It is light and easy to handle with one hand. It is the go to tool when nothing else will work as well. When you have to hang off a ladder cutting plumb cuts in 4" X 12" roof beams, nothing else comes close. Of course it cuts PVC & ABS pipes, but it also makes very nice clean cuts in lumber due to its wide blade. If you need to cut tree limbs, get a chain saw.
I would hate to think how long it would take to cut a 2x4. I was very dissappointed in the blade. I used it to cut some dead limbs and it cut really slow and not very large limbs either. I guess it would be alright for really soft wood or really small limbs and not oak and as long as you are not in a hurry. I would not recomend this blade save your money and use it to buy a good wood saw.
This is a hard to find part. I was glad to find that you had the part.
The Power Handsaw is a great tool to have around the house. The wood cutting blade worked very well. One "Idea" Black and Decker 'Please give the wood blade larger cutting teeth.
After using the wood cutting blade I found it to be very usefull in not only cutting 2'x 4's but have also used it for cutting branches. It's long lasting feature is a plus.
